I never believed in vampires. Ever. I Have recently shifted from vampire-disbelief to vampire agnosticism, due to philosophical reasons.

Everything you know about the universe would suggest that it is highly unlikely that vampires exist, and therefore the probability of one entering your room is infintesimally small. However, you would not be so arrogant to assume that a lack of evidence definitively leads to the conclusion about the existence of vampires, because you would realise the limited capabilities of humanity in experiencing the universe, and our technology in detecting it. Therefore, you might consider it more enlightened to simply file these little quirks under 'unknown for now, maybe forever', and focus your energies on the things that you know do exist, instead of focusing so much on something you definitely know doesn't.
